Apple charges 20 HTC iPhone patent infringement

Apple Tuesday announced that its Google Nexus One smart phone manufacturer HTC to prosecute accused the Taiwanese manufacturers have violated 20 iPhone (mobile Internet) patents.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs said in a statement, we can stand by and observe our competitors stealing our patented inventions, or we could have done something. We have decided to do something to this. We believe that competition is healthy. However, the competition should create its own original technology, not to steal our technology.

Apple’s alleged violation of HTC’s user interface with the iPhone, infrastructure and hardware related to the 20 patents.

Apple said that the litigation to the United States District Court in Delaware, and proposed to the United States International Trade Commission filed a complaint.

Since the 2007 launch of Apple’s iPhone has already sold more than 4,000 million of these handsets.

HTC for many major mobile phone manufacturers are Apple’s competitors, Google in January of this year launched Nexus One mobile phone manufacturers.

Nokia, Apple is currently being prosecuted, accused of violating a patent. Apple has brought counter-claims in this lawsuit.
